Dates are in American format

Applies to all versions

Log checker uses your computers default (system) and user date settings.

Both should be set to d/MM/yyyy.

Frequently when installing the computer the default US date format is accepted, then the regional settings are changed to localized date format for the user. This change does NOT change the default (system) settings. Running Log Checker with the system date as American and user date as Australian may cause unexpected behaviour and errors.

To check your date setting.

An alternative method is to edit the Windows Registry so that the System Default Settings conform to the Australian date format.

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\International

iDate = 1   ( 0 = MM/DD/YY, 1=DD/MM/YY, 2=YY/MM/DD)

sLongDate  dddd, d MMMM yyyy
sShortDate dd/yy d/MM/yyyy
