Applying an Update Manually (4.5.3)
These instructions will vary for each release.
These instructions are for updating a 4.x system to 4.5.3
You will need administrator rights to perform this. Vista users may also need to be logged in as a full administrator depending on how the security has been setup on your computers.
- Click on LC453_upgrade.zip and save it to a temporary location on your computer.
- Ensure Log Checker 4 is closed and you have backed up your data files.
- Open explorer and change to the temporary location on your computer.
- Expand the LC453_upgrade.zip file
- Run the setup.exe program from the expanded files
- Follow the prompts for the upgrade installation
- After the upgrade install is completed, start Log Checker 4
- You may be prompted to upgrade your data files depending on what version you were using.
- Backup your data files and programs, then start using Log Checker 4 normally
Note: The update program may update many of the Log Checker programs. This updates updates the LC4.exe and LogCheckerImport.exe files.
