Update Manually (4.5.3)

These instructions are for updating a 4.x system to 4.5.3

You will need administrator rights to perform this. Vista / Windows 7 users may also need to be logged in as a full  administrator depending on how the security has been setup on your computers.

1. Click on  LC4_453.exe and save it to a temporary location on your computer.
2. Ensure Log Checker 4 is closed.
3. Open explorer and change to the 'C:\Program Files\LogChecker4' directory
4. copy the lc4_453.exe from your  temporary location program to the 'C:\Program Files\LogChecker4' directory
5. Rename the existing LC4.exe  to LC4.old
6. rename lc4_453.exe to LC4.exe
7. Now start Log Checker normally

LogChecker Import Utility Update (4.4+)

These instructions are for updating a 4.0, 4.1 or 4.2, 4.3 system to 4.4  or later

You will need administrator rights to perform this. Vista users may also need to be logged in as a full  administrator depending on how the security has been setup on your computers.

1. Click on  LogCheckerImport.exe and save it to a temporary location on your computer.
2. Ensure Log Checker 4 is closed.
3. Open explorer and change to the 'C:\Program Files\LogChecker4' directory
4. copy the LogCheckerImport.exe from your  temporary location program to the 'C:\Program Files\LogChecker4' directory
