Record is not in edit or insert mode

After entering a page, you get the above message on some pages and are unable to update them. Other pages appear fine.

Has been resolved in version 4.1

Work around in version 4.0

There is something odd happening with the 'checked' check box on the single page. All problem pages have had the  'checked' check box ticked. But you can access a few other  'checked'  pages. In the mean time, don't tick the checked box.
 
if you need to clear the 'checked' flag so that you can edit the records do

  1. Close Log Checker 4
  2. Open the Log Checker Access database
  3. Click on Tables in the Objects pane
  4. Double click on the DailyLog Table
  5. Change any -1 values in the checked column to 0
  6. Choose File -> Save
  7. Choose File -> Exit
