Release Notes for version 4.2
Important
When Log checker 4 is first used after updating, it will upgrade the data
files. You should back them up before resuming the upgrade.
Branches / Divisons
This new feature allows you to create Branches / Divisons and allocate
drivers to a particular branch / division. When enttering pages or printing
reports, you will only see the drivers assigned to that branch / division.

To enter a branch / division

select Edit -> divisions from the
menu

To allocate a driver to a Branch /
division

select Edit- Drivers from the menu
Choose All as the Division
Locate the driver and select the
branch / division for the drop down list

To choose a default Branch /
division

Select File -> Division or Edit ->
Division from the menu
Select the Current division from the
drop down list
The division you choose will become
the default for reports and entering pages

Changing the branch /division
temporarily

When printing reports or entering
pages the selection of drivers will default to the current branch / division.
Selecting All or another branch / division from the list will change it for that
report / page only.
Quick Entry Page
This new feature allows you to enter and check pages without having to enter
the location, odometer or registration details. It will reduce the time needed
to enter and check the pages. Before using this mode of entry make sure that you
have (paper or electronic) processes in place to check and access
location, odometer and vehicle information when required. You can easily add the
location, odometer and vehicle information at a later if required by using the
normal enter edit pages.
