Travel Times & Time Calculator
In rewriting Log Checker 4, I was deciding whether to retain the Travel Times
and Time calculator functions. Many users that I spoke to did not use them and
the jury is still out. Email

back or improved.
Travel Times
The travel time information used previously in Log Checker 3 came from an
official source. I have been unable to access them this time. Sensis / Whereis
can supply me distances, but the times are not tailored specifically for
the transport industry. But it is far to so expensive to include in Log Checker
4. Legal advice is that I should not include any times unless it is obtained
from an official verified source. They suggest that I only let users create
their own times using the travel calculator. Your oppinion?
Time calculator
The changes to the Time calculator were put off because of the difficulties
with the night / long hours rules. I am currently considering adding them to the
second update (Nov /Dec) without support for the night / long hours rules. Then
adding the night / long hours rules in the third update (Jan/Feb).
Does anyone want this?
