User Licensing
Log checker is sold on a per user license. A user is a computers that Log Checker is installed / operated from. It does not matter how many drivers or people use Log Checker. You are required to have a license for each computer you install / operate Log Checker on.
There is no restriction on the number of pages or drivers you can enter other than the physical limitations of your computer and the software.
The standard version allows for installation on 2 computers plus occasional use on a Laptop for when you visit a remote depot. The idea is that both office computers are networked. One is used by office staff to enter the driver’s pages. The other is used when scheduling or checking pages. This will suit most operators that are managing / scheduling drivers out of the one location.
If you manage / schedule drivers in more than one location, then you will need additional user licenses.
If you are using Terminal Services to host the application for multiple users, then you must purchase enough user licenses to cover your normal number of users.
Log Checker is very affordable and represents a great return on your purchase price. We would prefer to trust you to purchase the correct number of licenses for normal use and allow you to go over that for short, infrequent periods. For example, you can have another 1 or 2 people using for a week or two when preparing for an audit. Log Checker 4 now has the ability to limit how many people are using it. I do hope that I don't have to activate it.
